My name is Jason Ronan and I was born in Melbourne, Victoria. I began my career as a Chiropractor 17 years ago after graduating from RMIT University in 1993. Over the 17 years that I have been in practice I have seen many, many people regain & maintain their health naturally through Chiropractic. Some very quickly, which is very rewarding, and some over a longer time, which in it’s own way is also rewarding due to the time & effort that we put in as a team to help the people who come to see us.
My Inspiration & Devotion
I was originally inspired to follow a healing vocation thanks to my dad. He was the only chiropractor for a city of 20,000 people and was so busy that he regularly had to do his house calls after dinner where I often tagged along. The love and care he gave his patients was obvious, as was the appreciation and gratitude his patients showed in return.
I have chosen to devote my life to the healing arts and am inspired on a daily basis by the people I am able to help regain their health and to stay healthy. I owe my own health and the vibrant health of my family to following the principles of natural health, a fully functional nervous and immune system, good food, exercise and positive outlook.
Continuing Education
In the last two years I have completed courses in basic & advanced dry needling (Western acupuncture), attended postgraduate education in Neuro Emotional Technique and spent many hours studying homotoxicology & nutrition.
Our Chiropractic Decisions
After many years of running our own practice, my wife & I decided we needed to spend more time with our family. We sold our practice in New Zealand, and moved to Toowoomba to be close to family. It has been great to have been taken aboard here at HealthGuard® Clinics Toowoomba, freeing up so much time to spend with the kids while they are little. Steve, Justin & the team here have been great, making the transition & day-to-day practice a daily joy.
I chose to practise with HealthGuard® Clinics Toowoomba because Steve and Liz Osborne have established an ethical, caring centre of health care excellence and I am thankful to be a part of a team of wonderful caring people who share their ideals of loving service. After having run my own practice for many years, I can now concentrate wholly on caring for my patients.
Since being at HealthGuard® Clinics Toowoomba, I have been able to learn & apply skills in dealing with emotional, nutritional & homeopathic aspects of health & well being to compliment my existing skills in dealing with structural, neurological & postural problems.

Now, a bit more about myself. I married my wife Frith in 2003 and we have 3 amazing children named Brooke, Joss and Illey. My children continue to grow, Brooke is 7, Joss 5, Iley is 3. As any parent of young children can attest, they keep us very busy. Brooke is a keen gymnast & tennis player, the little ones enjoy swimming & Kindergym. Joss & I share a passion for Lego & Star Wars, he recently had a day at Dreamworld undergoing Jedi training.
We are an active family, and with the time that is left we spend it in our garden, walking or cycling. I also spend time swimming with the Toowoomba Tadpoles masters swimming club when I can. We are involved with the P&C at the kid’s school, in which we take great pride as a family.
